London Bombing?

My sympathies go out to those who have been affected by the bombing in London. As far as I know, nobody from anywhere else really reads this journal, but who knows.

There’s been a massive global response to the bombings already, and I’m sure London will recover well from the event, despite the horrible nature of the bombing. It seems to me that this is the worst kind of terrorism: aimed against the most innocent bystanders in society. One cannot justify, on any scale, violence with such broad qualifiers.

I don’t think this changes my travel plans at all, aside from making them more difficult. I’ve bought my tickets and my itinerary is largely set already, so I’ve just got to keep my papers with me and hope for the best. It seems a bit selfish to think about how this affects my travel at the moment, though.
