Start.com?

If you go to http://www.start.com, you won’t find anything impressive, but if you go here, you’ll find a “preview” version of start.com, Microsoft’s customizeable homepage. The Start.com blog chronicles the development of the system, but it’s pobably interesting only if you want to keep up with the development of the page.

As for using it as a start page? Very cool. Slick UI setup, cool pop-up/pinning features. I’ve added a few screenshots (click for bigger):
