TV Licensing

This morning I woke up to find a pamphlet had be shoved under my door. It was a notice about TV-licensing.

Apparently, in England, in order to watch TV you need to purchase a “license,” otherwise it’s illegal and you might be subject to fines. Also, there are apparently people whose job it is to travel around and check to see that people with TV’s have said licenses.
