Rainbow
On the way back from the grocery store today there was a rainbow outside. Since I’ve gotten myself into the habit of carrying my camera wherever I possibly can, I’ve got a picture:
I’d also like to point out how much I love the public transportation over here. I heard some people from London complaining about it here the other day, but compared to LA especially or even Seattle, the fact that I can get more or less everywhere in town, all day, for under 3 pounds is pretty impressive to me. I’ve also never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus.
The funny thing is, the double deckers always look like they’re about to fall over (it’s easier to spot if the photo’s bigger):
[Image removed]Probably the scariest way to experience the double decker is to sit on the upper level in the very front seats. From up there the whole ride seems ungainly and dangerous---I have no idea how the drivers actually manage to get these things around the fairly small streets here.
