Wednesday is my busy day

At home (well, at Oxy) I’m used to classes being either two or three days a week for a total of three hours. Usually, that means I have a Mon-Wed-Fri schedule and a separate Tue-Thur schedule. In fact, the past three semesters I’ve had Tuesday and Thursday completely off.

Over here, the classes are generally divided into two parts: one lecture, one seminar. As a result, I have one weird, asymetrical schedule, and there’s no way I’m going to keep track of it myself. The most interesting thing is that since I’m an international student, I think the administration here decided I was the unlucky sucker who got stuck in the unpopular seminar times. Probably because I basically have nobody to complain to.

In any case, every Wednesday I have a seminar at 9am, a lecture at 11, a film screening from 2-5 and a separate film screening from 4-7 (yeah, I know. So does the professor…it’s OK).

But I got up so early this morning that after my first class I had time to talk to Ben before he went to bed the night before…

As a result, I have basically no energy (or will to write), so I’m going to postpone most of the entries I had lined up in my head until tomorrow. Also, tomorrow Flicker will be hosting the seventh monthly Carnival of Gamers. If you want to see some decent game blogging, don’t forget to check it out. I’ll post on that here, too.
