Hooray...Spam?

I just found a spamment down in the dregs of my journal.

Wordpress has this handy feature where it tells me when there’s a new comment (although I haven’ t been getting the e-mails, I’m not sure outlook is working right) and so I was able to spot and blast the “teen **** ****** ****” linking comment.

Of course, the fun technical legal thing is that by deleting spam comments, that makes me legally responsible for the content in other comments.* Because I technically monitor and remove Spam, I should also technically monitor and remove overly offensive or illegal opinions and information.

Guh.

*I’m not positive about this. I think there’s a case being heard in court right now that’ll decide how this falls.
