Sleeping funny

When I woke up this morning it took me a few moments to figure out what felt so odd. I couldn’t feel my left arm.

Somehow I must have slept on my side so that I pinched virtually every blood vessel in my shoulder, effectively cutting off the circulation down to my left hand. I had to reach over and grab my left arm with my right since I couldn’t really move it, and this felt extremely weird. It was literally like picking up someone else’s cold arm.

It was pretty creepy, even though I got my arm back. It makes me wonder what else I could do in my sleep—can you really lose a limb by sleeping on it wrong?
