The "top 40" guy

My taste in music is awful.

Personally, i’ll listen to absolutely anything, and find value in it. My opinion is that more or less anything that someone bothered to record has some value to someone, especially if it’s on (even the most obscure) radio station. As a result, I usually let other people pick the playlist, since eveyone’s going to agree on that.

But if you leave me alone to my own devices, what do I listen to?

Counting Crows, Stroke 9, Franz Ferdinand, the Offspring, Modest Mouse…the list goes on. I deserve no credit.

Basically, I like the things that “everyone” likes. You know, that music that’s at the top of all the charts because presumably, people are listening to it even though everyone and their dog knows that you’re not really supposed to appreciate it because it has no integrity, man.

But logically, there should be millions and millions of me’s out there, dancing to the same tunes. I’m just worried they’re all the people I don’t like.
