iTunes music store sucks

Or, more specifically, the DRM procedures that Apple has in place.

Almost every time I buy a song on the iTunes store, which happens a lot because people give me gift certificates, my brother likes the music. Since he can’t listen to it over the network without me authorizing his computer to play these files, he buys a second copy of the song for himself, despite the fact that his room is just down the hallway.

I can hear the song playing from my own computer. If that’s not a ridiculous waste of a dollar, I don’t know what is.

I can’t wait for Urge. I hope it’s cool.
