Yahoo! vs Google?

I’ve seen a lot of Yahoo! and Google in blogs over the past few days, and Fred’s been talking about his switch to Yahoo! since the first of January.

Here’s my list of opinions.

I like both search companies, so I try to split my usage about 50-50. Yahoo is better for some searches, and Google is better for others. I use the one that I think will get me there faster.

I think Google made the right choice in China.

I like Google but I think Yahoo! has a lot more business sense. They’ve been around for a while now, and they’ll be here and healthy for a long time.

Google is likely to hit a rough spot soon. But I want them to stay around for a long time, too.
