Oh, Pleo can I have one?

[Image removed]The (possibly criminally insane) genius behind the Furby has given us a brand new wonder: Pleo, the Robot Dinosaur.

Supposedly, this little dinosaur is capable of simulation a host of different human emotions based on the way you interact with it. It is, in a very limited way, an independent entity with an independent personality.

The article at PCWorld claims that:

Pleo walks, Pleo listens, and Pleo feels—meaning Pleo has an advanced operating system that allows him to relate to humans through a wide range of emotions. If you startle Pleo, he will be surprised. If you play with Pleo, he will play back.

And doesn’t that sound like the coolest thing ever? I mean, especailly since I tend to get bored with real pets after a few weeks and forget to feed them, this seems like a perfect match.
