Google calendar?

I don’t complain about the calendar built into Outlook much because I never use it.

I never use it because it sucks unbelievably. Every time I see someone using iCal or any other sensible calendar application I get a little bit jealous.

The problem is that I’m not very organized to begin with, and I like the way Outlook handles my E-mail, so I tend to keep my schedule in my head as much as possible.

But sooner or later I’m going to want a solid application that handles my e-mail, my schedule, and my contacts. I’m also going to want that application to be available and automatcially synched between my desktop, my laptop, and possibly my phone.

Could Google have the answer? They might.

TechCrunch has some screenshots of the early early beta for “CL2,” the Google Calendar to be integrated with Gmail. It’s looking more and more like Calacanis is right about Google making an Office Suite.
