Beta stages

I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m tired of everything being in Beta. It seems like launching a site or service in “beta” is all the rage these days, and everything and their mother is in beta somehow.

Do your beta testing in house or closed off. Offer it to the public when it’s ready to work, and if it’s really a complete system, don’t call it a beta!

Yes, I’m talking to you Gmail, FlickR, Netvibes, BubbleShare, Jumpcut, Musicstrands

…you get the idea.
