Bumped

One of the things that always makes me sad about writing here on Jason-Preston.com is how temporary everything ends up being.

Every now and then, I’ll put in the time to write out something I’m actually proud of; I’ll write two drafts, I’ll edit it, and I’ll send it proudly to the front page, top of the list.

…but most of the time it seems to slip by some unnoticed for a few hours or, at most, a day, and then I’ll post some other thought that occurred to me…anyways, I’ll end up sending an entry like this one to the bottom of the page.

Next time I post, it’ll get shoved off the front page and nobody’s likely to find it from here on out unless I link to it.

I think I might make a sidebar section to keep track of posts like that…ones that don’t necessarily warrant a listing on the Content page. But that’s work for another day.
