Online shopping will be the death of me

[Image removed]It occurred to me that one way to circumvent the problem of wanting to have a ridiculously huge TV and a lifestyle that, for the moment, has me driving up and down the west coast all the time is…(drumroll) buying a projector.

I really didn’t know that HD projectors could be had for under $1,000 dollars - but apparently it’s possible.

After a little bit of research, and spending a long time looking for reviews that don’t seem to exist, I think I’ve mostly convinced myself to grab the BenQ PE7800 DLP projector.

If I bought it now, I realized I can use my windowshade as a projector screen until I get back down to Los Angeles…at which point I’d have to drop another couple hundred on something like this screen. Unless I can use a wall.

Anyone have experience with HD projectors, this one in particular, or advice about it in general?
