Being quotable

One of things on my 101 list that might be somewhat more achievable than others is the aspiration to be quoted (like on the google homepage).

I was driving towards the freeway today and I spotted some kids running lemonade stand - I was going to stop and buy some until I noticed that the sign they were holding said “GATORADE 25 cents.”

Gatorade? I passed them by.

But it inspired me to come up with a sweet, quotable quote:

A child’s lemonade stand is like a paradigm of the American dream, through which we teach our children to steal the work of others and peddle it on the street for money.
