On doing cool things

There’s a girl who’s doing big things by releasing her videos on YouTube.

This is a damn good idea, but it won’t work for everyone. By definition
you only hear about the success stories (in terms of The Long Tail:
hits), so it’s a skewed picture.

This kind of thing always makes me conflicted, but I think it’s because deep down I must be a horrible person. I’m happy that it’s possible and I’m happy that people are doing cool things like this, but at the same time I always get upset because it’s not me doing them.

I also get frustrated that nobody thinks what I’m doing is as cool as these things ;)
