Top human security threats

We just made lists in groups of what we each thought the top three security threats to the world were. The lists looked like this:

1. Environment
2. Lack of Education / Social Inequality
3. Fatal Diseases / AIDS

1. Global Warming
2. Poverty
3. Use of Force

1. Poverty
2. Environment (Global Warming + Resource Depletion)
3. Disease

1. Social/Economic Inequality
2. Intra-state conflict
3. Environment

I remember hearing about a poll of the American people where they were asked if they felt safer than they did in September of 2001. Most people said no.

I’d probably say no too, it’s just that now I’m afraid of my government instead of the “other guys.”
