Happy Thanksgiving in '06

Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays, mostly because it dispenses with a lot of the unnecessary formalities and goes right into the stuffing your face bit.

America got this one right - in England they still try to fit a big turkey dinner in to the Christmas ritual, but I think it’s entirely appropriate to dedicate an entire holiday to having one gargantuan and delicious meal.

Unfortunately this year I’m not going to be in Oregon with the rest of my family, but I will be eating with my friend’s family in LA, and unlike my unfortunate relatives to the north, I will be eating real turkey instead of tofurkey (yep, it actually exists).

So with all that in mind, have a wonderfully filling Thanksgiving, and make damn sure you don’t weigh yourself for a few days.
