It's Black Friday

[Image: sw transform]Which is a pretty (appropriately?) ominous sounding name for the day when, historically, tons of retailers start operating in the black for the holiday season.

I don’t think I’ve ever gone shopping on Black Friday, mostly because the day after Thanksgiving is, in my mind, supposed to be the day where you relax, watch TV, and eat as many leftovers as you can. Playing Schwarzenegger in Jingle All the Way all day is not really my idea of how to spend the day.

However, some of my friends lined up outside Best Buy last night to have a go at their special $300 laptop deal and maybe get themselves a Nintendo Wii. I was looking at the advertisements with them, and some of these stores are putting on some incredibly cool sales, which I guess is a given.

There is, though, one toy that will make me go to Target this year. The Star Wars Transformers Millennium Falcon. This thing is so cool. Han Solo and Chewbacca transformers that combine to make the Millennium Falcon. OMGcool.
