Where to get discount toner for your laser printer

I feel like half the time I Google anything, it’s something like:

“good service” Korean food in Glendale

on the off chance that someone has had some good Korean food with good service in Glendale and then blogged about it. So I’m going to try to make recommendations when I come across a good or useful service.

Last month I my laser printer ran out of toner for the first time - I’ve had it for three years now and I’ve been using the cartridge that came with the printer, which wasn’t full to begin with.

The problem is that toner is pretty expensive. If I wanted to buy it from the HP website, it would cost me around $130, plus tax. So I did some digging around and came across this service called Toner Charge. (The web site is not tonercharge.com. That’s someone else).

This place is an operation in Southern California that gives you a nice chance to be less wasteful and save money. I’m totally down.

I e-mailed the guy and asked him how it worked, and he was really great at getting back to me promptly and explaining the system: when I ordered a cartridge from him, it would show up a few days later in a box with a pre-paid return shipping label. After I installed the new cartridge, all I had to do was put my old one in the box and drop it off to be mailed back.

They refill my old cartridge, and, I assume, sell it to someone else.

Pretty good system, and the cartridge I got from them works great. So if you’re looking for a good way to save some cash on the next toner cartridge, I’d say give them a shot.
