LinkedIn is actually pretty cool

I’ve had a somewhat profile at LinkedIn for a while now, and I’ve been reluctant to fill it out mostly because I feel like I’ve filled in my “profile” on a million other services already now.

But LinkedIn is going to be a great tool for keeping track of contacts I make in the work world. It’s “gown up” (read: ugly) enough for some of the more established business generation to get it, unlike facebook, and it has some cool things like job listings.

I imagine that if, for whatever reason, my hopes of continuing to work for Parnassus Ventures come May fall through, I’ll be checking the LinkedIn network for job opportunities.

That, or I may just see if I can’t get my next super secret super cool business idea off the ground.
