OSX and Vista

Fred abandons MS altogether
Personally, I’m looking at getting a MacBook Pro. I tend to be pretty at-ease in both a windows and an osx environment, so I’m not too worried about “switching” between the two.
And I do think that it’s important when you use a Mac to use Mac applications - don’t try to simply mirror your windows apps and workflow, that won’t cut it, and you’ll come away frustrated. Practically everything you can do on a PC (except full exchange support) you can do on the Mac with alternate apps.
I think that Apple has a better laptop experience, and Windows provides a better desktop experience, at least for me. So that’s what I plan to do. And if I really really want to, I can always install Vista on the MBP.
