Flying coach

I like to fly coach.

I think it’s because I like to fly with other people and because I like to have something to bitch about. But mostly I just don’t like to be pretentious.

Don’t get me wrong, if someone offers me a free first class upgrade, I’ll move right up, but I’m perfectly happy sitting with most people on a plane. It’s really not that bad: a lot of plane flights are either really short or come with movies (or now, games), and it’s easy enough to bring a laptop on board.

If you need leg room, like I do, you can stand up and walk around.

I don’t know. There’s something about coach that’s really “flying,” which I like.
