Seahawks: the most ref-cheated team in football history

[Image: hasselbeck]I know that everyone expects the Seahawks fans to feel cheated in a game like the one we just lost 27-24 in overtime, so I’m going to start out by saying that I thought the Bears played a solid game, and Gould’s field goal to end the game was actually a damn nice kick.

HOWEVER, I’m amazed that the game went to overtime at all. If I were in LA with my media center I’d have the video clips to upload to YouTube and prove it, but I think even Bears fans might have to reluctantly agree that the Bears got two really important first downs that they should not have had, and the Seahawks lost one that they should have gotten (although we went for it on 4th down and made the touchdown, so…I can’t complain about that one too much).

The first bears call was just obscene - the refs made up a two yard gain that nobody could pretend was there. The second time, the refs called a time out to quietly add a yard to a ball placement while the cameras went to commercial.

Other than that, the game was pretty well played, except that as always, Hasselbeck missed a few key opportunities to make the winning play.

What a bitter morning for a Seahawks fan.
