Writing

So. Damn. Busy.

This is easily the busiest semester I’ve ever had. I’d guess it’s because I’m essentially working three jobs (running CS3 review, writing for the Escapist, and being Yearbook tech), trying to hang out with a whole bunch of friends I might not see after I graduate in May, having to do a half-hour documentary project for my comps, and taking three writing-intensive classes.

And yet, I’m loving it.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m really stressed out right now. I have a long long way to go on my comps project, which only determines whether or not I get my degree. I’m realizing that my journalism class, while it is going to be extremely fun, is going to be about 3 hours of reading per week, plus about 1,000 words of writing that I’ll have to do two or three drafts on if I want to get above a B on the assignments.

Then there’s screenwriting, where I have to produce a feature-length screenplay by the end of April. And blogging is…more of this here.

Needless to say, I’ve started relying on iCal to keep track of what I need to be doing at any particular point. It’s really a sad thing when you look forward to the weekend so that you can finally sit down and get some work done.

In any case, my brother went to Tolo recently, and I hid the picture behind the jump. Have a look-see if you want.
