What's your April Fools favorite?

I’ve never been big on pranking people on April 1st. I’m just not very good at coming up with pranks that are the right level of funny. I worry that I’ll end up accidentally crushing someone’s soul by filling their apartments with delusional chickens, and that’s rarely a good thing. And more importantly, it’s not even particularly funny.

There’s harmless fun like this, of course, or last year someone put a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on my car (I still don’t get it).

I spent some time this morning in the shower trying to think of any good pranks I could pull this year, but nothing occurred to me, and besides, I was out of chickens, so I gave up.

My favorite prank is actually one that Scott Adams mentioned in his post a day or so ago—where you arrange for someone’s answering machine to call them at work. Or just for their answering machine to call them. If you want to read how it’s done, check the post.
