GM, Autos, Global Warming, and the EPA

Recently the Supreme Court ruled that the EPA has the right and the duty to regulate exhaust from motor vehicles in order to help clean up our air and reduce global warming. Also recently, Scott Adams complained about how hybrids are so ugly that driving one ensures that you will never have kids.

It’s part of the secret plan. Why, so many people ask, does GM produce hybrid cars that look like aborted donkeys and call them names like the “Trax” and the “Groove?” Or why don’t they bring back the EV1, the electrical car that ran better than a gas car and needed no maintenance?

It’s simple: they don’t want to sell them.

Car companies make way more money off of standard cars running standard internal combustion engines, and then they make money off of the maintenance when you go in to a dealership. I think they need to embrace the future, and make a cool hybrid or even better, a cool electric car.

There are ways to monetize them. You just have to make them and find out. Follow the Google model.
