Wordpress.com plugin for facebook

The Wordpress.com news blog, which I never read, recently made a post announcing a Wordpress.com plug-in for Facebook.

I never blog on Wordpress.com, although I do have an account so that I can use Akismet. I went ahead and installed the Facebook Plugin, but I haven’t been able to get it to work yet. There are tabs for posting and stats and whatnot, but whatever I click just sends me to a page that says:

You’ve already added WordPress to your Facebook applications.
Visit the My Applications page to adjust your settings or remove this app.

Oh well. I really just wanted to see if it would let me post to a WP install that I hosted myself. The answer appears to be no.
