The CES "It Won't Stay in Vegas" Blogger party WAS off the hook

[Image removed]For some strange reason, it’s kind of difficult to get online at CES. The Bellagio doesn’t have any wi-fi in the guest rooms, and the Podtech/Seagate 2008 BlogHaus (where I’m sitting now) seems to be the only place where I can get at my e-mail in addition to just browsing the web.

From my humble perspective, our “It Won’t Stay in Vegas” blogger party last night went amazingly well. Prizes were handed out, including 9 intel flight suits (have you heard about their Zero-G flight?), Deal4It.com handed out schwag to celebrate the launching of their site, $600 of cash from FlyTunes (formerly Broadclip), and 80 round-trip tickets from Virgin America.

Not to mention I got to meet and hang out with tons of cool bloggers: Brian Solis was there, so was Marc Canter, and Robert Scoble. I met Spencer Yip from Siliconera, and Andru Edwards & the Gear Live crew were cruising around with a camera.

Oh yes, and the band was awesome. I have no idea how to spell his name, but the phenominal Jazz Pianist who might phonetically be called “Day-Ner Franks” provided us with some excellent music, some of which Teresa sang along to. Nice!

I’ve already uploaded some of my pictures to FlickR (I shoot RAW, so I have to process them), and tagged them with CESBloggerParty08. Feel free to do the same. And feel free to check out my favorites after the jump, although, unfortunately, FlickR automatically resizes things to just the wrong size for my blog.
