No Conflict No Interest
Interest implies knowledge and understanding and leads to good decisions if the people involved have integrity and the ability to put the interests of the community first and their financial interests second.

A conflict of interest may be just a “conflict,” and the end result is not necessarily at the expense of the “greater good” and in favor of the self-interest. Interesting conclusions come from that line of reasoning.
