Visa Backs Jack Dorseyâs Square

Square, the San Francisco start-up that lets anyone accept credit card payments through mobile devices, on Wednesday announced it had received an undisclosed âstrategic investmentâ amount from Visa, the No. 1 credit card company.

Square has been quietly working at changing the way credit card payments work, and in the process, they’re also going to drastically increase the number of transactions that happen with a credit card instead of cash.

I think this is probably a great investment from VISA.
